Hey there, folks! Hope you've been enjoying your summer!

Okay, so we've been kinda quiet here on NewGrounds for a bit, so I figured we owe you a bit of an explanation. Well, long story super short....life kinda kicked us in the rump! Personal, medical and financial issues hit even the best of folks at times, and that's been the case for us here since about...March? Thankfully, family and friends have been there for support and encouragement, and while we did lose a few teammates, the folks that ended up staying are, in my opinion, closer than ever.

Now for production updates on the pilot episode:

2024 has been one heck of a year to be sure. Thanks to a few hiatus' and additional production issues, we essentially lost the months of January through March, and of course March is when all the crud hit the windmill. Re"cooping" from that (sorry for the pun) took a bit of time, but finally we're back on track, and we're on schedule to have the first sequence fully animated in color by the end of the month..so yay! We plan to put out a sneak peek closer to August, so stay tuned for that.

So yeah; thankfully things are looking to be on the upswing finally; however if you're willing and able, we do have a few ways that you can help us out monetarily. I HATE passing the hat around, but sometimes I guess it's necessary to keep us indie series going. We do have a Patreon page, but honestly you'd be better supporting us through the following:

With all that said, we're sorry for not being as active as we'd like this summer - we do have a few fun things planned for the remainder of July, including celebrating Chucky Chicken's birthday on July 25th. We also have some End of Summer stuff planned, and of course, our annual Halloween and Christmas celebrations that are certainly never to be missed; especially since this'll be our first year doing it HERE on NewGrounds.

So there ya go, our State of the Rooster Address for you lovely folks. Honestly, we love being on this platform, and while we're still learning the in's and outs, and trying to get our group out there to a wider audience, the folks we have supporting us here have been nothin' but kind and supportive. So with that said, thank you all for your patience and understanding.

With that said, here's to the second half of 2024 being a bit more productive, and bringing you something worth cluckin for!

First off, I HAVE to thank all of you amazing' folks who have shown us nothing but love, support and welcome here on Newgrounds! You've made our debut on this platform so amazing; thank you for makin' us feel at home!

We love our fans so much, that every Thursday at 6:30 pm CST, we do a livestream podcast called the Cluckin' Crew on our YouTube channel! What is the Cluckin' Crew? Well, it's basically the show creator and voice of Chucky Michael Cook, Lead Storyboard artist and director Alliyas Lavigne, Lead Character Designer and Lore Keeper Tino Calcaterra and a special guest just having a ton of laughs and a great time! We showcase indie animation and mainstream animation news, give you a backstage peek at the inner workings of our production, hold interviews with special guests, art requests; we do it all!

We've already been on the air for 30 episodes, and tonight is gonna be a fun one. For you see, after 30 episodes, we've run out of ideas! LOL I guess we'll have to wing it! Greetings, Newgrounders!

First off, thank you all for the amazingly warm reception we've gotten here on the ORIGINAL indie animation platform; we're pleased as punch to be finally getting our content on here for you all to enjoy!

I'm thrilled to announce that we're going to be re-releasing all of our previous shorts from the past 15 years here on Newgrounds as well! We want all you lovely folks to see the origins of Chucky and his pals, as well as just get familiar with the legacy of the character and his world.

With that being said, don't expect THE BEST quality with these re-releases. Most of these were a solo act by series creator Michael Cook, and he wasn't at the level he is today. So please be kind, and enjoy these classic shorts. The first of these has been uploaded and once it's been "judged", it'll be available for all to enjoy! If there's anything you'd like to see in particular, or if there's any favorite character you'd like to see more of!
